The United States Department of Agriculture prohibits the movement of gypsy moth from an infested, quarantined area to a non-infested area. The following states are entirely within the quarantined area: Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. Parts of the following states are also within the quarantined area: Maine, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin. If you are moving from a quarantined area, it is necessary to complete the following inspection report within five (5) days of loading. This form is filled out by you and releases Atlas Van Lines from responsibility. Atlas Van Lines will not load your shipment without this documentation.
